O MUZEJU

Postav muzeja čine fotografije domaćih i svjetskih fotografa.

ABOUT THE MUSEUM

Image of war – war photography museum opened it’s doors to public in 2018 and is the first museum to gather  the necessary funds via a crowdfunding campaign „War belongs in a Museum“. As an independent initiative, the museum is realized through cooperation with the Museum of War Photography in Dubrovnik and other similar museums from the country and the world. Museum exhibits photographs of local and international photographers.

ACCESSIBILITY

The museum is set up in an apartment building on the first floor (near Zrinjevac Park) and it’s entrance is inaccessible to wheelchair users. At the entrance you will be greeted by seven steps, but at least there is a handrail on the stairs, so a number of people who use other means to move around might still be able to enter the museum. From the correspondence with the museum staff, I also learned that it’s not possible to see all parts of the exhibition because there are stairs leading to one part, but you can announce your arrival and the staff will be happy to assist you with the entry.
